AI Image Enhancer uses an ESRGAN super-resolution model — a neural network trained to rebuild fine detail — to enlarge photos while keeping edges sharp. A normal resize only stretches the pixels and makes the photo look soft; the AI adds back texture and clean edges. It can also fix colours, brightness and sharpness in the same step.
It works best on small, low-resolution or slightly soft photos. It cannot fully recover a photo that is badly shaken or completely out of focus.
